Population-Based Public Health Clinical Manual: The Henry Street Model for Nurses, 4<sup>th</sup> Edition

Acknowledgments

A group of Minnesota public health nurse educators from a diverse set of colleges of nursing and public health nurses from state and local public health agencies as well as some nonprofit community organizations started the Henry Street Consortium (HSC) in 2001. The HSC was created to build a quality population-based public health nursing workforce to meet the needs of public health practice in the 21st century. This includes providing student-centered learning opportunities that prepare students with entry-level competencies in public health nursing that can be utilized in a variety of practice settings. The members of the HSC are still dedicated to this mission. We wish to thank our colleagues in the HSC, who generously share their knowledge, experiences, and examples of the essence of public health nursing practice and education.
