Mary Alexander was named Chief Executive Officer of the Infusion Nurses Society (INS) and the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (INCC) in 1997. As Editor of the Journal of Infusion Nursing, Alexander writes bimonthly columns and has editorial responsibilities for INSider, the bimonthly membership newsletter. Haylock was a team member and writer for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship’s award-winning Cancer Survival Toolbox—audio instructional programs for survivors and family caregivers. In 2002, Haylock received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Service from the University of Iowa College of Nursing and, in 2008, received a Distinguished Alumni Award for Service from the University of Iowa. She was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing in 2011.

Patricia Gonce Morton is Dean Emeritus, University of Utah College of Nursing, where she served as Dean and Professor and held the Louis Peery Endowed Presidential Chair. An educator and scholar who is known for her work in critical care nursing and nursing education, Morton has written multiple editions of three textbooks, numerous book chapters, and over 60 journal articles.
