Rachael Lebo is an informationist at the Welch Medical Library, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She provides service for the information needs of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Kennedy Krieger Institute. Lebo has helped nurses with their evidence-based practice and quality improvement research projects in collaboration with the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing and Johns Hopkins Hospital Nursing Administration. Lebo also holds an adjunct position at the University Libraries, University of South Dakota. She provides assistance in knowledge translation, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement research projects in collaboration with clinical nurses, faculty, staff, and students at the Sanford School of Medicine and partner institutions.

Carrie Price is the Health Professions Librarian at the Albert S. Cook Library, Towson University. She was previously a clinical informationist at the Welch Medical Library, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, where she provided reference and instruction to faculty, students, and staff. She has collaborated with the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing and Johns Hopkins Hospital Nursing Administration to help nurses succeed in evidence-based practice, knowledge translation, and quality improvement research projects. Price has a strong interest in user-centered and instructional design.

Michelle Patch is an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She also maintains an active practice with Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality and The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Department of Patient Safety. Patch has held progressive clinical, operational, and safety leadership positions in various inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and austere settings. In these capacities, she has successfully led and coached multiple healthcare teams in evidence-based practice projects. Her scholarly interests include intimate partner violence, assault mechanisms, and workplace violence in healthcare, and she lectures internationally on patient and staff safety-related topics.

Jennifer K. Peterson, PhD, APRN-CNS, CCNS, FAHA

Jennifer Peterson is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Her clinical experience includes the care of infants, children, and adolescents with heart disease and their families in a variety of roles across the spectrum of care settings. As a CNS, she is committed to evidence-based practice and patient safety/quality. Her research interests include developmentally supportive care, long-term outcomes of heart disease in children, and healthcare disparities. She teaches in the prelicensure pediatrics course and in the DNP Clinical Nurse Specialist program.

Nicole L. Mollenkopf, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCPPS

Nicole Mollenkopf is an Assistant Professor and Director of Interprofessional Education at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Patient Safety Specialist at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality. She has served as an expert medication safety consultant both nationally and internationally. Her scholarship focuses on methods to improve the quality and safety of the medication-use process. At the prelicensure and advanced practice nursing levels, she teaches pharmacology with a focus on application of evidence-based principles to improve medication outcomes.

Robin P. Newhouse, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN

Robin P. Newhouse is Dean of the Indiana University School of Nursing and Indiana University Distinguished Professor. Her research focuses on health system interventions to improve care processes and patient outcomes. She has published extensively on health services improvement interventions, acute care quality issues, and evidence-based practice. Newhouse coauthored the first edition of Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice: Model and Guidelines. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and appointed Cochair of the Methodology Committee of the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame in 2014, received the American Nurses Credentialing Center President’s Award in 2015, and was recognized as a Distinguished EBP Trailblazer by Fuld National Institute for EBP in 2019.
